“Life unfolds like an unseen hand, guiding us toward exactly where we need to be, even when the path isn’t clear.”
Hi my loves, – How are you all doing (feeling)?
We are now deeply inside the window of the Eclipse Season, and it’s still feeling pretty intense. Deep ‘stuff’ is coming up for healing and release for many of us – and if you are one of them, you have my total empathy.
I’ve already managed to hit almost all the bumps in the road this year so far (I won’t bore you with the detail) but today was my ‘eclipse surprise wildcard’- when a huge swelling in my molar forced an emergency visit to the dentist….
Very painful in both mouth and pocket as it looks like its got to be extracted and an implant might be my only choice (I’m not quite ready to embrace gappy yet lol)..
It’s a challenging time for many of us, yet, there feels like there is something quite fateful occurring all the time.. what can on the surface feel like terrible luck, also has the air of feeling like being redirected to something more soulfully aligned… (like the farmer’s parable which I will paste below).
Its not always clear what that is at first… but even amidst the unknowns and uncertainties (especially whilst I don’t even know where I will be moving yet) – I feel ‘held’, and I have a deep sense of faith that things will be ok.
The amount of synchronicities flying in recently are through the roof! Are you getting them too? Once again, it’s like something else is at the wheel..
There’d have been a time that the control freak in me would be going insane to not know the answers to everything….I would have had to have a plan, and a back up plan to boot…
These days – thanks to all my practices: somatic work, heart IQ, kundalini and caapi – I have a much easier time navigating all these unknowns. And it seems the universe just keeps on giving me more, just to make certain I get the lesson ;p
That said, it feels like we’re being tasked to get everything in order now though.. Whatever may have been put to one side, or brushed under the carpet, is screaming for attention now. And painful or as frustrating as that may be, if you look deeper, tackling it really is for our highest good…
Those of us who have put our own health down the pecking order of priorities, are getting a shove to get on top of things again now. Those who have put their traumas in a box in the cupboard are having things flying out to greet them (ready or not).. and those who have been sleepwalking through life, are getting a bit of a wake up call with the veil of illusion being swung firmly back.
Eclipse season is like dropping into the void.. and no pun intended, It’s time to face anything we’ve been ‘avoiding’….
Seems like either we choose to do it ourselves, or we might well have the hands of fate do it for us. And like I found out with my tooth today, waiting for a better time might be more expensive than you think.
Have no fear – we’ve got this though!! We’re all on this journey together, and we are stronger than we realise.
Sending you all a huge hug and love
Penny xx
P.S. There are only a few spaces left for the Autumn Equinox Mini Retreat (happening on the day of the Solar Eclipse too), so grab your spot if you are feeling the call for this beautiful soul-healing event. The Lunar Eclipse Soundbath evening was utterly sublime, so if you missed out on that one, here’s your second chance to get an eclipse healing <3
P.P.S. Please be gentle with me if I still have a hamster face when you see me next ;p
The Farmer’s Parable
There was once a farmer who had a horse, and one day the horse ran away. When the neighbours heard the news, they came to visit. “Such bad luck,” they said.
The farmer simply replied, “Maybe it is, maybe it isn’t.”
The next day, the horse returned, bringing with it three wild horses. “How wonderful!” the neighbours exclaimed.
The farmer said again, “Maybe it is, maybe it isn’t.”
The following day, his son tried to ride one of the wild horses, but was thrown off and broke his leg. The neighbours came to offer their sympathy at this bad luck, but the farmer once again said, “Maybe it is, maybe it isn’t.”
A few weeks later, war broke out and soldiers came to the village to draft young men into the army. They saw the son’s broken leg and passed him by. The neighbours congratulated the farmer on how well things had turned out.
The farmer smiled and said once more, “Maybe it is, maybe it isn’t.”
This goes on in the same way for quite a while, ..but it’s a simple, yet powerful reminder that we never truly know what is “good” or “bad” in life until we see the bigger picture. And the bigger picture, is always unfolding….xx
