Many are already noticing we’re in what is being called ‘one of the most challenging weeks of the year’ by world astrologers..  There’s some BIG astrological happenings right now and they’re bringing a lot of feelings & emotions to a head. Â
As well as starting this week off with a nice big X class solar flare, Mercury being in retrograde, and a squaring off with Saturn and Jupiter, things are about to get waaaay more intense as we head towards the Aquarius Full Super-moon happening on 19th Aug.
Theres no way to put this more gently – ‘Big changes are on their way’ – and although that might feel a bit scary (as change always does), if we can embrace what’s coming non-judgmentally, these changes will help us into alignment with our highest selves.
What this Full Moon is going to show us, is that we can no longer sell our souls ‘to fit in with normalcy’. We need to reconsider what we’ve been conditioned to want, do, be, and have.
Our souls are urging us to become our truest expression of ourselves, to liberate from this ‘oppression, suppression or anaesthesia’ that we’ve been living in, which might even be a complete shock to some of us who have been pootling along on a journey thinking where we are headed, is what we wanted. Â
We may end up having a complete 180 degree turn over multiple decisions or ways of being, and may even surprise ourselves (as well as those around us). Many of us may act out of character… a new version of ourselves might be emerging from the shadows (or the chrysalis).. Yet we have been preparing for this time without even knowing – we are being put to the test now.. have we truly learned the lessons we’ve said we had?  Things will make sense once the dust has settled… and they WILL be for our highest good, so try to be accepting of the changes, even if it feels like plans are being scuppered at times. Â
Whatever inner work you have been doing will start to pay off, and as long as you have been acting with integrity you will be rewarded by taskmaster Saturn. The Saturn/Jupiter conjunction is very karmic – it will not be so kind to anyone who’s out of integrity as Jupiter has a lot to do with laws and legality.  Saturn is linked to big institutions like governments and corporations, so we may see a bit of a shake up here as it brings us round to the period started in the big 2020 Saturn Jupiter conjunction – where we started with the limitations and set backs.Â
This is one of the most potent full moon’s of the year – it is also a rare Blue moon so Its gravitational effects will be heightened. Typically full moons bring things into the light; they bring completion, endings, drama, fulness, as well as helpful insights. As this one is so powerful, we will be feeling the effects from Aug 12th to 26th – longer than most full moons which are usually only 3x days.Â
For many there will be a perspective shift over this period. It’s being called a ’tsunami of truth’ that is heading our way, and our eyes may be opened to things we did not want to see over the coming months, but it’s time we faced what we need to with courage. It is a choice this Full Moon – Faith or Fear?!
